Fund Change With Your Taxes, Not ANC Corruption

Reduce your tax bill by making a tax deductible donation to Cape Development Institute NPC

Drive change with your taxes, not ANC incompetence and corruption

Public Benefit & Section 18A

Section 18A of the Income Tax Act allows South Africa taxpayers to donate up to 10% of their taxable income to registered public benefit organisations (PBOs), and to claim tax relief on those donations. This applies to both individuals and businesses.

Cape Development Institute (CDI)

The Cape Development Institute NPC (Non-Profit Company) is a sister organisation to the CIAG. It was established by the founders of the CIAG who are the institute’s only directors. It was explicitly established to receive tax deductible donations and to use them to support the campaign for Western Cape self-determination. The CIAG leans heavily upon it to carry out our advocacy work.

Help us, not the ANC

For individuals and many businesses, 28 February marks the end of the 2026 tax year. If you are going to incur a tax liability, then please consider making a donation to the Cape Development Institute and reducing your tax bill. You will need to make the donation before 28 February.
